Working principle of flamethrower

By adjusting the pressure and changing the flow, the gas is ejected from the muzzle of the gun and ignited to form a high-temperature cylindrical flame for heating and welding. In terms of structure, there are two types of hand-held flamethrowers, one is the air box integrated palm and upper shotgun, and the other is the gas box separated head.

1) Air box integrated palm shotgun: easy to carry, generally smaller in size and lighter in weight than the separate type.

2) Gas box separate type palm fire lance head: need to connect the card type gas cylinder, the weight and volume are large, but the gas storage capacity is large, and the continuous use time is longer.

Compared with the welding torch and other tools that need pipeline gas transmission, portable torch has the advantages of one-piece gas box and wireless portability. However, due to the fact that the portable flame lance relies on oxygen combustion in the air and gas pressure, the flame temperature of the commonly used portable torch will not exceed 1400 ℃.

The windproof lighter can be said to be the predecessor of the portable shotgun. The medium and high-grade portable flame thrower has been innovated and expanded in the following aspects, which improves its use value, expands its use, and is competent for more harsh working environment.
